Momentum: a collaborative project with the NASUWT Brass Band and DMS brass students from Durham Johnston School, St Margaret's and Thornhill Primary Schools. Students and members of the NASUWT Brass Band have worked collaboratively in workshops, playing together a wide variety of original and traditional music in anticipation of the event at the Locomotion Museum. Durham Music Service groups perform on the platform stage at Hope Town as part of the annual Darlington Community Carnival! Sign up to take part in the DMS Pop-up Choir 2026! Young singers aged 9-16 can sign up and learn songs to then come together as part of the Darlington Carnival Celebrations at Hope Town.
