The DMS Secondary Framework is designed to make music learning inclusive, progressive, and rewarding for every student in Key Stage 3. It celebrates achievement, supports existing school systems, and raises the profile of instrumental and vocal learning across our region.

How It Works

  • Three Levels of Achievement:
    • Bronze – Year 7 (download Bronze tracker) 
    • Silver – Year 8 (download Silver tracker)
    • Gold – Year 9 (download Gold tracker)
  • Termly STAR Awards:
    Students earn certificates each term for progress across key skill areas.
  • Pin Badges:
    Awarded when students complete all three STAR stages.
