Rehearsals are on a Thursday during term time from 3.00 p.m. until 4.15 p.m. at Tanfield School.

Durham Music Service and New College are teaming up to wrap up the incredible journey of our secondary school bands project. After months of dedicated preparation with Durham Music Staff, it all comes together in a thrilling day-long workshop and concert as part of the Big Play celebration. DMS Clarisax

Come and join our exciting new single reed group. Music of all styles, classical, jazz, pop and musicals. All types of clarinet and saxophone welcome. DMS Stars Weardale is a fun and friendly music group who meet together every Tuesday at Wolsingham School for violin, flute and recorder.

DMS St Bede's Peterlee Rock Band

St Bede's Peterlee Rock Band is open to any secondary school pupil looking to play in a rock band! Playing or singing in a group is a brilliant experience: There's the chance to make new friends during rehearsals, develop new musical skills and celebrate success at special performances with friends and family. All instruments welcome! Tuesday afternoons during term time 3.15 - 4.00pm at St Bede's Catholic School, Peterlee.
DMS Whitworth Park Rock and Pop Band

This group is open to pupils in the Spennymoor area who play guitars, drums, keyboards or sing. We rehearse every Thursday from 3-4pm at Whitworth Park Academy and prepare songs for live performances across the school year. This group is open to students working at Grade 3 upwards in guitars, drums, keyboards, vocals.
Durham Music East Durham Strings

Come and join in with a brand new fun friendly group especially for violins, viola's and cellos of ALL abilities in East Durham! We will meet weekly during term time, to play together learning pieces of music, along with playing musical games and generally having a lovely musical time! We aim to share our skills to families and friends with at least 2 performances each year.
DMS Dene Academy and Affiliates AS Band

After School rock/pop group. A fantastic chance for like minded students from Dene Academy and surrounding schools to get together, socialise, learn contemporary music and perform on a regular basis.
DMS Darlington Rocks

DMS Darlington Rocks is a weekly twilight session run by specialist Rock & Pop tutors at Haughton Academy for students of grade 3 or above on drums, guitar and vocals.
